JACQUES TORRES CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE

This recipe was first published in The New York Times in 2008 and everyone and their mother has made them. They're made with bread flour and cake flour and you let the dough rest in the refrigerator for three days before baking. Just Google "jacques torres chocolate chip cookies" and you'll find many, many recipe bloggers who've reviewed them.

I'm underwhelmed and unimpressed. These taste like every other chocolate chip cookie I've ever made and are heavy on the butter flavor. They spread out nicely. They don't compare to my favorite ones so I can't see ever making these again.

I grade them a B for basic.
